How to give

The Benevolent Fund holds a registered Relief Chest in the Masonic Charitable Foundation Relief Chest Scheme (RCS) through which Gift Aid is claimed.

Donations can be made either by Chapters giving one or more of their usual charity collections, or by Companions individually.

If individuals wish to give, it would be much appreciated if a gift aid form could accompany the donation.

The Single Donation Form can be downloaded HERE.

Chapters can donate their alms collections by following the procedures explained in the following guide and Gift Aid claimed by completing an EVS form. All chapter charity Stewards have previously received copies.

The Gift Aid Relief Chest Guide can be downloaded from this website HERE

The Envelope Verification Scheme Form EVS can be downloaded HERE

The principal object of the Fund is to make a substantial donation, every two years or so, to non-masonic Charity. The Trustees will give preference to a Charity registered within the Province of Warwickshire aimed at giving aid or assistance to a wide range of individuals rather than to a specific group or section of the community.

The Trustees always welcome suggestions from Companions of the Province as to possible beneficiaries. There is also provision within the Fund to receive applications on behalf of individual Companions in need, although it is requisite that they first approach the Craft Charities through their Lodge Almoner.

All donations from Chapters should be sent to the Masonic Charitable Foundation as per the Guide and the Envelope Verification Scheme Form, and confirmation sent or e-mailed to the Provincial Grand Charity Steward.
