Chapter of Faith and Hope 4772 – Proclamation and Installation

The Chapter of Faith and Hope is now back to full strength and operating well, and as ever, on the lookout for new candidates.  On the regular meeting date (3rd Monday in February) a good number of members, joined by many visitors, saw the Installation Convocation take place.  The first and second Principals, E. Comp Ian Grayson and E. Comp Colin Bennett, were both proclaimed for a third year, by dispensation, whilst the new third Principal, E. Comp Chris Albion, was installed and invested by E. Comp John Hayward, acting 2nd Principal, in the absence of E Comp Colin Bennett who was unavoidably absent due to business commitments.

Our Chapter is somewhat unusual in that it attracts members from Lodges far and wide.  The MEZ hails from the Lodge of Freedom, H (the real H) is from Lodge of Happiness, whilst J is a member of three Lodges, but originally from Machen Lodge.  In fact, we have members from at least eight different Lodges.  If you would like to learn more about our Chapter, follow this link

Pictured below on the Installation evening are:
