The Travelling Loving Cup Progresses to Forest of Arden Chapter

The Travelling Loving Cup has moved on from the Chapter of Faith and Hope 4772, based at the Yenton Masonic Centre to Forest of Arden Chapter 3826 meeting at the Knowle Masonic Centre.

In a well explained presentation, E Comp Ian Grayson, MEZ of the Chapter of Faith and Hope entrusted the Cup, to the Acting MEZ of Forest of Arden Chapter, E Comp Albert Walker, giving a history of its travels to date, and the conditions that need to be met to keep the Cup travelling through the Province.  E Comp Keith Reynolds, MEZ, was unable to be present, as he is due to have an operation in the next few days, and is isolating in preparation.

Pictured above with the Cup at the handover are from L-R:-

E Comp Colin Bennett, Faith and Hope Haggai, E Comp Nigel Tongue, Faith and Hope Charity Steward, E Comp Kevin Kane-Brooks, Forest of Arden Haggai, E Comp Philip Wills, Faith and Hope Principal Sojourner, E Comp Albert Walker, Forest of Arden Acting MEZ, E Comp Howard Smith, Faith and Hope DofC, E Comp Ian Grayson, Faith and Hope MEZ, E Comp John Hayward, Faith and Hope Scribe E, E Comp Clive Cooper, Forest of Arden Joshua, E Comp Chris Albion, Faith and Hope Joshua.

Following the presentation, we were treated to an excellent explanation of the Symbolical Lecture by E Comp Kevin Kane-Brooks, Haggai of Forest of Arden Chapter.  This was a very relaxed evening which everyone present enjoyed, and were pleased to see the Travelling Loving Cup moving on as intended.

To follow the rules governing the Cup’s travels, Forest of Arden Chapter must select another Chapter, at another Warwickshire centre, with at least three members taking the cup to its destination.  The holding Chapter must not keep it for long, so that it continues its journey throughout the Province, and encourages visiting between Chapters.  The cup is now kept in a box to protect it on its travels, together with a record of its movements to date.
